This simple, easy-to-take inventory will enable you to evaluate your personal property and determine whether you have adequate insurance. It will also be useful if you have a loss and need to make a claim.
Helpful hints…
 | For proper protection, household and personal effects should be insured at actual value. |
| When major items are purchased, the inventory should be adjusted accordingly. |
In case loss occurs:
| Notify your agent immediately |
| Protect the damaged property from further loss. |
| Furnish a complete inventory of the destroyed and damaged property, showing in detail quantities, costs, actual cash values and amount of loss claimed. |
| Within 60 days after the date of loss, complete a signed proof of loss stating the amount of loss and other pertinent information |
